Luncheon for Seniors
Join the Thompson Senior Cafe and Thompson Recreation for entertainment and a luncheon on Friday, April 19, 2013.
Entertainment by John Banker begins at 10: 30 a.m. Audiences throughout New England recognize John Banker as the charismatic leader of the Riverboat Ramblers and Island Rhythm. John is also an engaging solo performer presenting interactive, specialty programs spiced with nostalgia, humor, showmanship and enlightenment.
Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and will include meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans and peach cobbler. Beverages include water, coffee and tea.
The cost of the lunch is $5.00 per person.
The deadline for registration and payment is Friday, April 5, 2013. (We are unable to accept registrations after April 5 and also cannot accept walk-ins on April 19.)
How to Register
Bring payment to Rose at the Thompson Senior Cafe between 9 a.m. and 11:00 a.m, Monday through Friday. The Cafe is located in the Louis P. Faucher Community Room at the Thompson Public Library, 934 Riverside Drive, No. Grosvenordale, CT.
